I couldn’t resist the Fenty Beauty hype! I just HAD to go grab some of their brand new makeup to review for you. I picked up the products that are most geared toward fair skin so that I could show you how they perform. Very few brands make complexion products that match my ultra pale skin and since Fenty is touting their fully inclusive shade range, I wanted to put the lightest shades to the test. Check out my video below to find out my thoughts.

Is Fenty Beauty Cruelty Free?
Fenty Beauty claims to be cruelty free on their website. They state the following:
DOES FENTY BEAUTY TEST ON ANIMALS?
Never. Fenty Beauty is a cruelty-free brand. We never test products or ingredients on animals, nor do we allow suppliers or affiliates to conduct testing on our behalf.
IS FENTY BEAUTY VEGAN?
Fenty Beauty is cruelty-free and never tests on animals, nor do we allow suppliers or affiliates to conduct animal testing on our behalf. While the majority of the products are free of animal byproducts, Fenty Beauty is not considered a vegan line: A handful of our products may contain ingredients of animal origin, such as beeswax and carmine. The following products are considered vegan-friendly: Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, Match Stix Matte Skinsticks, Invisimatte Blotting Powder, Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, and our Brushes & Tools.
My friend Courtney from Phyrra emailed them to get more information regarding their cruelty free status.
I just wanted to confirm that Fenty Beauty has no plans to sell in China or in any country that tests on animals?
Fenty Beauty replied:
Thank you for your email. Does Fenty Beauty have plans to sell in China? Never. Fenty Beauty is a cruelty-free brand. We never test products or ingredients on animals, nor do we allow suppliers or affiliates to conduct testing on our behalf.
We are still awaiting further information regarding Fenty Beauty’s ingredient suppliers, labs, etc. to be completely sure that they are cruelty free, but at this time I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and do believe that they are cruelty free.
